The Violet Joan Archer Fund

Who We ServeThe Violet Joan Archer Fund includes individuals who make a deferred gift to Ifetayo or notify us of an estate plan that will benefit Ifetayo. Through long range planning, the Violet Joan Archer Fund assures the continuity of Ifetayo.

  • The Violet Joan Archer Fund has raised $25,000 to date.

  • The Capital Fund

    Who We ServeThe Capital Fund supports the acquisition and on-going maintenance of Ifetayo’s own building. After over two decades of service to the community Ifetayo needs and deserves its own building. This fund goes towards that end and acquired, the funds will go towards maintenance and repairs.

  • The Capital Fund has raised $700,000 to date.

  • The Elise Gene Clarke Scholarship Fund

    Who We ServeThe Elise Gene Clarke Scholarship Fund has been made possible by the generous support of Mama Elinor Bowles and donors who have a deep commitment to the personal, educational, and professional achievement of Ifetayo's students. Each scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 per semester, for students attending two or four-year colleges and universities as well as those attending approved post-secondary vocational/technical schools. To receive a scholarship, students must be accepted and enrolled as full-time (12 credit) students seeking their first undergraduate degree.

  • The Elise Gene Clarke Scholarship Fund has raised $15,000 to date.

  • The Baba Montego Joe Promising Student Music Fund

    Who We Serve The Baba Montego Joe Promising Student Music Fund awards a student who demonstrates aptitude in the art discipline of music, specifically trap drum with a scholarship to continue their studies within the Ifetayo Cultural Arts Program. Students must be nominated to receive the award and complete an application process once nominated. Each year one award will be granted. As the scholarship fund grows, the number of years of a single student award will also grow from one to three years of free study. This fund is overseen by committee which includes Baba Montego Joe’s two daughters.

  • The Baba Montego Joe Promising Student Music Fund has raised $500 to date.
